Rethink Healthy is a component of Health Care Vision 2020 and is sponsored by the Alliance for Health and Aligning Forces for Quality. Rethink Healthy seeks to improve health and health care in West Michigan, bring those who get care, pay for care and deliver care together to take giant steps toward improving health care.

Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) is an effort to improve health care in 14 communities across the nation. Funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the program brings together those who receive care, those who give care and those who pay for care to improve the quality of health care.

As one of the 14 participating communities, the West Michigan AF4Q initiative is led by the Alliance for Health, a nonprofit organization serving 13 West Michigan counties. The Alliance is dedicated to ensuring that all residents have the highest quality, most equitable and affordable health care services available.

AF4Q focuses on influencing, inspiring and motivating consumers to become more active partners in their own health care. AF4Q also aims to increase consumers' understanding of what high quality health care is.
